Chinese-Scottish 25-year-old singer and producer Rachel Lu emerged in 2020 under the moniker LVRA (pronounced loo-rah). Described by CLASH as “Rustie or Forest Swords through to Bjork or even Arca” LVRA’s genre-defying blend of razor-sharp vocals and self-produced soundscapes is equally suited to the stadium as the basement. Undoubtedly, at the core of their self-described ‘project’, lies a loyalty to authentic and unfiltered observation, introspection and expression. They will be announcing a new project soon in 2025.
