Lying Dawn is a Paris-based alternative metal band formed in 2019 by Will Maggot (guitar) and Pilou Courtieu (vocals), recently joined by Félix Moal (bass) and then Vadim Hoch (drums).
Essentially inspired by the ’90s, their progressive compositions are balancing between grunge and modern metal. A true duality emerges in their music: innocent clean guitars crashing into a wall of distortion and a powerful raspy voice.
Lying Dawn is self-producing its first album, Nothing Remains The Same, set for release in December 2025. The band also collaborated with an illustrator for a year to bring their first single "Does He Remember" to life in an animated music video.
