Lyndsie Alguire is a Tiohtià:ke (so-called Montreal)-based artist who likes things bittersweet. Her work contains through-lines of stillness, vulnerability, and longing. Using piano, synthesizer, field recordings, and voice, her work evokes images and textures that are melancholic with a hopeful edge. Growing up on classical piano training, she went on to study audio engineering and film photography, dovetailing these mediums into her craft.
