Lyric made her first DJ appearance at her own sweet sixteen party, attentively guided by her father. She went on to perform Christian techno with a gospel choir and became utterly obsessed with the idea of making music. That's when Robert Hood suggested she join Floorplan. Lyric's open-mindedness and impeccable musical instinct perfectly complemented Robert's extensive knowledge and decades of experience. This has resulted in a series of successful releases, with the albums "Victorious" on M-Plant, "Supernatural" on Aus Music and more recently "The Master's Plan" on Classic as their greatest feats. As a solo artist Lyric has been releasing various tracks and EPs on M-Plant since her "Nineteen / 11:11" release in 2019 and including 2022's acclaimed "Woman-Hood Chapter 1", it's equally well-received follow-up, 2023's "Woman-Hood Chapter 2" and the empowering "Breath & Britches" last autumn. Her follow-up "That Bass" is released September 2024.
