Having met through mutual friends whilst pursuing other projects, the two lads from Liverpool soon discovered they shared a mitual passion for the same styles of music. With this in mind they set about finding a studio space in the city . This led to many long days and nights of hard work resulting in the formation of Matrefakt in 2018, their debut EP on their own Attitudes To Life label gained support from leading artists in the scene such as Skream, Mella Dee & Patrick Topping they have since gone on to release on stand out labels such as Of Unsound Mind, Shall Not Fade, Sous Music, Warehouse Music & Four Thirty Two.
