M0NTE!

M0NTE is an up and coming artist from Rochester, New York. Originally inspired by rappers such as Lil Uzi Vert and the late Juice WRLD, as well as underground sensations like Midwxst and SoFaygo, M0NTE picked up the microphone at the young age of 11. He started because of Juice WRLD's untimely death which inspired him to start recording music off his phone and then later switching to BandLab on a laptop to record his music. First dropping music under the stage name 7 Eleven he released tracks that will never ever see the fucking light of day, later changing his name to the iconic LVN Yung Monte where he started releasing his music on SoundCloud and later moving to all platforms. His journey under the new stage name started with the "Still Trapping at Midnight" series, where on Christmas day 2021 he dropped the original "Still Trapping at Midnight" garnering small scale attention with tracks such as "IT'S MONTE!" and "Couches" showcasing Monte's raw talent and versatility. The next year Monte would continue to drop music taking a break over the rest of the winter and coming back in the spring with the much improved sound of "Still Trapping at Midnight: Spring Collection" which would be shortened to just "Spring Collection" a third installment: "Summer Collection" was planned to drop over the summer but would be scrapped and turned into the two EPs "LVN Tape" and "Freshman Year". After "Freshman Year" Monte would take his largest break before dropping "Selling OUT" March 2023.
