Chilean punk/rock foursome Machuca was formed in the early '90s, independently producing Si Tapas Tus Oidos in 1992, soon after participating in a local rock compilation with "No Quiero Morir Antes De Haber Vivido" and "Hogar Dulce Hogar." In 1995, Carlos Cabezas produced Machuca's debut album Hogar Dulce Hogar, getting its song "Corazón Desilusionado" played by major rock radio stations. In 1997 the band released an EP called Ella, including tracks recorded live at Santiago's Chile stadium on August 14th, 1996, followed by 1998's Viva Machuca!. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
