Mad Mother

The five musicians from Passau—Tony Hochuber (guitar, vocals), Mike Krompaß (Hammond organ, vocals), Alex Pöll (bass, vocals), Gerald Regner (drums), and Marco Fresser (saxophone, FX, live processing)—form the Krenrock band “Mad Mother.” Since the first lockdown in 2020, the band has been working together on their songs. A Mad Mother concert captivates the audience with a hypnotic introduction from their BOX, leading them to the OCEAN and even the LONESOME DESSERT (abbreviated as LSD), to name a few song titles. The harmonious vocals, which make hearts beat faster, contrast with the surreal, well-composed passages that might even catch the attention of a Frank Zappa. Long ecstatic solos make their concerts a unique experience. The classic rock instruments blend beautifully with synthsounds and sonic landscapes. Mad Mother is currently working on their debut album, set to be released in 2023. Until then, you can catch the band at one of their concerts in the southern German region.
