Inspired by Cher and the country music divas of the 90s, Maddie Larkin is forging her own path as the next gen sensation changing the face of country music. Growing up in Buffalo, NY, Larkin’s mother played empowering female voices throughout their home and encouraged her four daughters’ creativity. Larkin's childhood summers were spent RVing around the Northeast with her sisters creating songs and performing musicals for their parents.
Maddie found her sweet spot in songwriting and on stage; writing became an outlet after a back injury that happened at a young age. Determined and daring, Larkin moved to Nashville to pursue her new dream of becoming a singer-songwriter. Her persistence and pursuit of country pop perfection landed her a deal with Sony ATV in 2015 and support slots with Hunter Hayes, Eric Church, and Craig Morgan. In 2017 and early 2018, Larkin released singles "45" and "Expectations," which have garnered nearly 1M streams and landed her on the CMT Next Women of Country playlist.
Maddie's newest release "Sad Girls Don't Cry" is a certified sad bop, she coined the term “tear-twerker” as a song that’ll make you want to dance and cry at the same time. It’s a fresh take on a break up song that details the universal experience of falling apart on the inside while keeping it together on the outside.
