After picking up a guitar at six years old, Lucy Voll was destined to be a performer. Family bonding meant dinner table sing alongs and late night jam sessions. Harmonies over homework was a constant theme and classic rock icons like Cheap Trick and Fleetwood Mac made more sense than George Washington or Albert Einstein. In her childhood household, the language was chord progressions and Beatles B-sides, giving her many years of musical inspiration on which to cultivate her own sound. In turn, Lucy turned to female standouts that not only made great music but had a strong and dynamic sense of self. Lucy has always refused to be typecasted, allowing her spirit and audacity to shine through in her music. She won’t be distilled to one thing, and her bold pop-country calls to action demonstrate her propensity to always speak her mind and never miss a second of fun.
