Made.Allayne

Made.Allayne (made-a-lane), also known as Made, is a genre bending hip hop artist whose style is influenced by the sound of the early 2000’s via artists such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Pharrell and J Dilla. From Aurora, Illinois (just outside of Chicago), Made set out to pave his own way and create a new sound that represents his unique upbringing. As the youngest of his 3 siblings born to Jamaican parents, Made.Allayne was the only member of the family to be American born and raised- which from the beginning made him different from his immediate surroundings. This influenced the scope of his interests which borrows from different eras and explores a wide range of cultural diversity. Made is a product of the grey area which separated him from belonging to either side. His passion for music, stemming from childhood would lead him to living in Chicago, New York, London and Los Angeles- all of which informed his artistry. Along his journey he became entirely self-taught, self-produced, and self-made creatively as a musician. His message explores, in a very transparent way, the everyday bouts of life: ambitions, relationships, faith, coming of age, and life lessons. Through limited resources and outlets, Made embraces in his creativity that anything can be made from nothing to something.
