Madóc

Madóc is an Irish American singer-songwriter based in Boston, MA. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest (Portland, OR and Vancouver, BC) and with roots in Ireland, she manages to create a unique Celtic Folk Pop sound that is both haunting and hopeful. Madóc's journey as a solo artist began in summer 2023 when she taught herself to play guitar. Songs started pouring out of her and she began performing locally in Boston in March 2024. Since then, she has performed across the US and Canada as a touring artist, having completed 13 shows from San Diego to Vancouver, BC with cousin and Monterey-based artist, Sabelle.

With her cutting lyrics and raw performances, she strike the souls of her listeners. Drawing influence from Irish legends, The Cranberries, Hozier, and U2 as well as pop icons Maggie Rogers, Chappell Roan and King Princess, Madóc is a vocal force to be reckoned with. As a queer artist and youth worker, she invites anyone listening to lean into their deepest truths with compassion, freeing themselves of the bounds of social pressures - looking instead at the beauty within.

Her most recent project, Adrenaline Demos is a collection of her most cherished songs written since November 2023 in their skeletal acoustic form. Over the next year she plans on building out these songs and more into their grandest full-band form.
