Mae Van Gent is a Dutch singer-songwriter who started her career in the theater. Mae was part of Creatifs (an artist development program) and toured for more than a year throughout The Netherlands. With her own show ‘Ongemak is het nieuwe roze’ (Discomfort is the new pink) Mae performed on stage. Mae attended the international Keep an Eye Summer Jazz week at the Conservatory of Amsterdam (vocal jazz). During the years, Mae developed her own style and writes her own songs and melodies.
