Traditional Celtic stylist Maggie Sansone was the daughter of a jazz pianist who each year gave his daughter a new musical instrument at Christmas; a versatile talent who mastered everything from the guitar to piano to bassoon, she found her true calling as an adult, discovering the hammered dulcimer. Upon forming her own label, <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Maggie%27s+Music%22">Maggie's Music</a>, Sansone issued her debut LP, Hammered Dulcimer Traditions, in 1987; in addition to subsequent recordings including 1990's Mist and Stone, 1994's Dance Upon the Shore, 1998's A Traveler's Dream: Celtic Explorations, 2001's Celtic Meditations: Into the Light, 2004's Mystic Dance: A Celtic Celebration, 2007's A Celtic Fair, and 2010's Wind Drift: Celtic Grooves, Mystic Moods, she has also authored a series of music books for <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Mel+Bay+Publications%22">Mel Bay Publications</a>. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
