Magí Garcías, born in Palma and currently based in Cologne, is a classically trained pianist who studied in Weimar and Nuremberg, earning several awards along the way. He has performed across Sweden, France, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria. His work reflects a deep passion for performance and a focus on the intersection between popular and classical music. As a composer, Garcías has released Nuredduna and Palma Ciutat Trista. In 2021, he launched Refractio, a project with Diego Hervalejo that explores the relationship between interpretation and improvisation. In 2025, his chamber music duo, Sosnowska-Garcías Duo, released their debut album Im Volkston under the Genuin Classics label.
