Magic Rhodes’ engagement in music began during his early years. “My Dad’s musical collection sparked my interest in music” he says, labelling it ‘the ultimate one stop shop’. At age 9, Magic found his musical footing by penning choruses and stepped into music production & songwriting at age 14. He was primarily influenced by his heroes - Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson.
Currently wielding over a decade of experience in music production, songwriting and performing, the British Nigerian is on a quest to deliver his vision but more importantly to do so distinctly. His musical style which combines soulful vocals with contemporary musical elements serve as the channels for him to do so.
