Magpie

Magpie is an emerging indie folk band from Guelph, Ontario. A new full length album, "High Plains," recorded in the summer of 2021 is set to release September 30th 2022. "Yes phase" was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Arthur North Studios in Guelph by Nick Zubeck in December, 2019, and released in April, 2020."Yes phase" followed on the heels of the band's self-produced debut album, "You only live twice," recorded in Guelph and released in August 2019, available on bandcamp.Magpie is Grant MacLeod (guitar, vocals), Marnie McCourty (ukelele, vocals), Anna Bowen (guitar, keyboard, banjo, vocals), Scott Haynes (drums) and Dave Snider (bass, vocals). Curtis Walker (blunderspublik) is the drummer on "Yes Phase." byron is the drummer on "You only live twice"
