Mahesh Mahadev, is an International award winning Indian Film Score Composer, Songwriter, Independent Artist, Singer, Lyricist, Multi-Artist and Director. A gifted musician well-versed in Carnatic, Hindustani, and Western Music he has made significant contributions through his numerous original music scores and soundtracks to the music industry across multiple languages in more than 15 Indian and foreign languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Sanskrit, Marathi, Gujarati, Braj, Rajasthani, Malayalam, English, Tibetan, Japanese and others. As a lyricist, he has also written several lyrics for independent songs and movies in Sanskrit, Kannada and other languages.
In Indian Classical Music, as a Raga creator and Vaggeyakara, Mahesh Mahadev has contributed significantly to the world of music inventing over 50 new Indian Classical Ragas in Carnatic and Hindustani Classical music composing numerous Varnams, Krithis, Tillanas, Viruttams, Bandishes, Abhangs and Bhajans.
