My journey with music began at the age of six in Istanbul, where I started playing the piano with my family’s encouragement. Over time, my curiosity led me to explore different instruments, including guitar, drums, bass, and both clean and extreme vocals. As I delved deeper into music, I also became interested in composing and producing, gradually developing the skills to bring my own ideas to life.

At sixteen, I joined a black metal band called Rantolo in Izmir, marking my first real step into the underground metal scene. This experience shaped my musicianship and inspired me to develop a sound that truly resonated with me. At eighteen, I officially launched my solo project, MaidoleM. While the project had been in my mind for years, it was only after learning production techniques that I could fully realize it. With Maidolem, I explore a blend of dungeon synth, blackgaze, romantic black metal, and acoustic black metal, drawing influence from projects like Taake, Alcest, Këkht Aräkh, Burzum and Draugveil.

Throughout my journey, I’ve remained focused on learning, evolving, and expressing emotions through music. My goal has always been to create something honest and meaningful, hoping that others might connect with it in their own way.
