MainPain

MAINPAIN was born in 1996.
The first EP, named PAINTED, was issued in 2001, followed by the first LP, <a href="spotify:album:5XbwNkGk8CgcyeKAr7Gh7b" data-name="Food for Thoughts">Food for Thoughts</a>, published in 2006.
Feedback was so impressive that MAINPAIN were hired by <a href="spotify:artist:2N1l5VEy6whDRqvnUElnau" data-name="Blaze Bayley">Blaze Bayley</a> as opening act for his european tour, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the Italian metal scene, such as <a href="spotify:artist:19MT2Mc2dw1jUjUy1RRryc" data-name="Strana Officina">Strana Officina</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:43LgakFObTvzrPXXR3Tp2Z" data-name="Domine">Domine</a>, Sabotage, <a href="spotify:artist:22z0tVpiv6LNYiPLxXoQKq" data-name="Crying Steel">Crying Steel</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6pqLIBojVZS1e5n3rQLW92" data-name="Ancillotti">Ancillotti</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:51ITCVufEroLfhG8wdPDz1" data-name="Pino Scotto">Pino Scotto</a>, as well as international acts such as <a href="spotify:artist:71lhIVHJ24x9hEcwFSWuOf" data-name="Onslaught">Onslaught</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3UqRgrDIQ208yNGiWKRMNt" data-name="Napalm Death">Napalm Death</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4IEndG9y9UaxhC2StAGGav" data-name="Michael Schenker&#39;s Temple Of Rock">Michael Schenker&#39;s Temple Of Rock</a>.
2012 is the year in which the recording of <a href="spotify:album:6TuPnR31RoJD6hY6N3Yuil" data-name="The Empirical Shape of Pain">The Empirical Shape of Pain</a> took place, eventually released in 2014.
In 2017 the band published their latest EP, titled <a href="spotify:album:3aVsmwBGdm3mPEndavzsj8" data-name="Rise Again">Rise Again</a>, with a new videoclip to support it.
2021 marked the 25th anniversary of the band and new songs have been in the works ever since.
