Malaki Alighieri

Malaki Alighieri, real name Malaki Smith, is an American rapper, singer/songwriter and writer from Marietta, Georgia. Born with osteogenesis imperfecta, also known as brittle bone disease, Malaki has struggled to fit in with others. As a result, he decided to embrace what makes him unique and stand out voluntarily. Malaki would begin his music career at the age of eighteen, starting the briefly public band Reign The Parade, then becoming independent as Kaiii and later knowhere. never., up until April 2021.

Each major project Malaki releases is a part of ‘The Divine Allegory’, a similar but more personal adaptation of Dante Alighieri’s ‘The Divine Comedy’. His debut major release, ‘Ante-Inferno’, is the first in a story of many, and also is compiled of multiple tracks originally released under knowhere. never., such as ‘Falling’, ‘Not in Neverland’, and ‘Dark Side of the Room’. The 15 track tape is a compilation of songs released under knowhere. never.. The sequel and full length album, ‘Inferno’, released April 16, 2022, featuring the hit single ‘Gluttony’. Following that is ⸘NTERROBANG, a 7 track LP serving as a self-titled release and inbetween story wise for Ante-Inferno and Inferno. The sequel to Inferno, Ante-Purgatory, serves as the bridge to the next and possibly final release in the Divine Allegory story.
