As the first ever German-American artist to spend a week on a Times Square billboard in New York City, gold-certified singer-songwriter Malik Harris combines organic pop and a mixture of rap and singing with deep lyrics and unconventional songwriting. The self-taught multi-instrumentalist grew up inspired by popular songwriters like Tyler Joseph from Twenty One Pilots, the live shows of Jack Garratt or the modern rap styles of artists like NF. Teaching himself how to play guitar, piano, bass and drums and combining that with his unique voice he has developed his very own modern pop style. His 2022 single Rockstars hit Top10 in the German Single Charts, peaking at #4 on German Radio AirPlay, charting in several European countries and hitting #64 in the worldwide Shazam charts before being certified GOLD in 2023, followed by his latest hit singles Dreamer and Sticks & Stones which became his second German AirPlay Top10 smash in 2024 - justifying his nomination for Germany's biggest music award as 'Best Newcomer Act’.
