Touring with "Yatao" from 2015 to 2020, Malte introduced a pioneering style of handpan music. In 2021, he launched his solo career, quickly becoming the world's most-streamed and best-known handpan artist through viral videos and his expressive playing. His music, often described as healing and reflective, guides listeners through personal journeys and inner discoveries.
Malte co-founded YataoShop to help others start their handpan journey and developed the Malte Marten Method, teaching over 5,000 students to connect deeply with their emotions through music.
Celebrating 10 years of handpan playing in 2024, Malte continues to inspire with innovative projects like the world's first Handpan Teacher Training and global concert tours. His heartfelt performances offer audiences a space to slow down, tune in, and connect on a profound level.
