Mandi Perkins

Mandi Perkins was born and raised in Toronto, Canada before moving to attend UC Berkeley and pursue a career in music. She recorded her first album with producer Warren Huart and mixer Mark Needham in 2007. The independent release of those songs online garnered the attention of long time Bob Dylan manager/publisher, Jeff Rosen, who introduced her to executives at Sony Music who signed her to a record deal in 2008. Mandi immediately began work on her major label debut album, Alice In No Man’s Land, which saw just a limited release after the new artist division of her label was shut down in 2009.

Mandi then formed the critically acclaimed electro indie band, of Verona. Their debut album was written, produced and mixed by the band and the lead single from that album, Dark In My Imagination, received radio play on tastemaker stations such as KCRW, Alt Nation and WNYC. The song also reached number one on the influential Hype Machine chart online. of Verona released their follow up album, Glass Beach, in 2017. The band has also played a number of notable events including: Lollapalooza, SXSW, Movie Awards and Life Is Beautiful.

Mandi has since signed a publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing and launched a number of indie projects including Denmark + Winter, Essx Station and Chelsea Effect, which performed shows at The BottleRock Festival and Summerfest in 2022. She has had over 300 television and film placements and continues to create daily for both on stage and off.
