Mange Le Funk formed in 1998 by Maurice Bird & Suff Sakoor. Maurice having started writing music in 1988 as a member of the U.K acid house group Adrenalin MOD . Suff Sakoor having nurtured his DJ skills at a young age, DJing Disco, 80’s Funk, Soul, Pop, Acid House, Soulful, Funky House, later producing his own music using his inspirations & musical knowledge. The duo were resident DJ’s at some of the hottest venues in the Midlands & London.Best known for the disco house anthem “I Still Want You” released in 1999,. The track hit chart success worldwide. With new mixes in 2010 from Bellatrax, The Revenge, Gramophonedzie & released on Hed Kandi & Oxyd Records (Italy). In 2015 the concept “One NIght Love Affair” (ONLA) was born. A group of friends & DJ’s with the desire to throw top notch parties. ONLA has since hosted events in Northampton/Brighton/London. Present day 2020 with releases on Pretty Chief, Records, Yoonek Records & Ten Lovers Music under The African Sunset Project & Suff Sakoor. The duo have now created the Mange Le Funk Productions record label. Get ready for some real special music combining the history of 35 years of the love & influence of Jazz Funk, Disco, Rare Grooves, Hip Hop, Electro, Acid House, Techno, Soulful House, Afro & Latin House Funk, Broken beat.
