b. 1969, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Guitarist and electronic musician, improviser, composer and educator. His musical field is focused on digital synthesis through programming environments such Max/msp. He has developed his facet as a composer and improviser in his own or shared projects such as Dr. Bacteria, Machuca Trío, Dos Caras de la misma moneda or "Instant-áneas #16", a solo project, "m2Electroacoustic Ensemble" and in solo electronic format. With some of them he has recorded and has taken part in countless festivals. As an educator he has given master classes, held a permanent residency on free improvisation, he is the author of the modern guitar manual and has contributed to the specialist magazine, Music:life. He teaches modern guitar and electronic media at municipal school. As a producer, he received the UFI Award for best Jazz album in 2007 for Just Jazz. He has collaborated with artists such as Tim Berne, Tomas Fujiwara, Tom Rainey, Masa Kamaguchi, Xavi Molero, Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, Wade Matthews, Alfredo Costa Monteiro, Ingar Zach, Patricia Brennan. Trained at the SIM in New York where he receives information oriented to jazz, where he discovers free improvisation and where one of his great musical interests, rhythm, is generated, all this under the guidance of musicians such as Tim Berne, Mary Halvorson, Marc Ducret or Tom Rainey among many others. He previously graduated from the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California.
