Maraca

Maraca band was established in 2000 in the Czech Republic. The members of the group are classically educated and devote themselves wholeheartedly to music. We compose music for theater performances, films and special projects. We take inspiration from all over the world where we travel for music. Most members are also engaged in pedagogical work. Singer Gabriel Vermelho works as an independent actress and has been awarded several awards for her acting. Our work is inspired by the poems of the Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoy thanks to the film "Lisbon story" by Wim Wenders.

Maraca je neuchopitelná, stejně jako básně Fernanda Pessoy, který svými básněmi protíná celou její tvorbu. V hudbě se mísí moravské i arabské nápěvy, jemné i drásající tóny, polyrytmy a zvláštní neuchopitelné zvuky s nezaměnitelným zpěvem Gabriely Vermelho.
