I am Marc Gunn. I was born on St Patrick's Day and raised on Elvis Presley and Star Trek. The holiday birthed my love of Celtic culture. Elvis made me fall in love with singing. Star Wars, Star Trek, and Dungeons & Dragons solidified my selcouth life as a geek.

It wasn't until I was 27 that I fell in love with Celtic music. That's when I started the Brobdingnagian Bards. We played Renaissance festivals. My diverse interests really resonated there. I thought that was where my people hung out, until I found science fiction conventions. They were strange, different and marvelous--selcouth.

Now I play Celtic music for geeks with a wry sense of humor and a love for pop culture.
