Marc Volt, house head and synth-enthusiast from The Netherlands grew up digging tunes, putting together compilations of the best ones on handwritten disks. After experimenting with various kinds of electronics as a kid, he quickly got his hands on his first synthesizer. The beginning of an eventful journey. After releasing his first tracks, Marc got picked up by some of the most influential names in the industry. With his disco and tribal-influenced sound, he got himself into playing key events at Amsterdam Dance Event, which lead to a successful collaboration with Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, which quickly resulted in millions of streams, and plays on all the biggest music outlets in the world. In 2019, 'In My Mind' was featured on 1001tracklists.com's list of most supported tracks that year, on spot #101. Further up the list of successful Marc Volt releases include tracks on Toolroom, Armada Music, Axtone, Musical Freedom, Snatch!, Be Yourself, Work It Out and many others.
Continuing his journey as a fine house music selector, Marc's 'IN THE BOX' imprint celebrates the 100th episode of the like-named podcast in 2021. To celebrate that milestone, the sound of IN THE BOX evolved into an exciting new record label, which releases its first record in 2022.
