Marciano Woods is a Belgian band started up by two ex Toy members, Renato Marciano and Harry Woods. A Toy song called “Suspicion”, written by Harry Woods went on to become a hit in Belgium and Germany and subsequently an alt. rock classic. Marciano Woods carries on the fine tradition of dealing in well-crafted song and dance fabrications and lyrics about sweet or sour, pink or blue, sting or stroke, whisper or scream, sulphur or lavender, and even a few songs about nothing in particular. Two voices also, Renato’s silky and Harry’s rather sandpaperish, or a mix of both.
