Marcoussimo

Marcoussimo loves crossing genres - film soundtracks to The Streets to Johnny Cash, Fat Boy Slim, Radiohead, Beck, Chemical Brothers, Frank Sinatra & disco. Originally from North West London (via Essex), he now lives in a village in the middle of nowhere. His first band signed a publishing deal with BMG. Over the next five years, the band spent a lot of time in studios, touring, and learning the ins and outs of the music industry. After the band split, Marcoussimo had a residency DJ’ing at a bar in Camden Town, where (by chance) one night he met the very talented recording engineer and producer Ian Rossiter. Together, they formed Oscar The Punk and collaborated with prominent artists, including Robyn, Gwen Stefani, Moby, and MIA.

Marcoussimo will release his first EP, Country Electro on May 30, 2025. Country Electro 2 will follow shortly after. both records explore themes such as loneliness, addiction, and our relationships with phones and social media (good and bad) 😳 Both eps jump across dance, indie, pop, grime, and country music.
