Margaret Berger has become an icon within electropop, a genre that has shaped much of
today's mainstream pop music. With a warm voice and personality, against a
backdrop of hard and cool beats, she has found a special place in the hearts of the LGBTQ+
community, and she is a frequent and celebrated guest at Pride events throughout the
Nordic countries and the UK.

From the moment Margaret Berger stepped onto the "Idol" stage in 2004, her musical
journey has been a captivating tale of transformation and renewal. With her debut album
"Chameleon," which was not only nominated for a Spellemann Award but also lauded by
critics, she quickly established herself as an artist to watch.
In 2006, Berger boldly shifted her musical style to a cooler electropop soundscape with the
album "Pretty Scary Silver Fairy." This work was met with critical acclaim beyond the borders of Norway, marking her as a pioneer within the genre.

2013 marked a resounding comeback for Berger as she won the Norwegian Melodi Grand
Prix final with "I Feed You My Love." This track, known as one of the best entries Norway has sent to Eurovision, earned her an impressive fourth place in the competition in Malmö.

In recent years, Berger has also explored singing in her own dialect, resulting in four singles.
This approach has not only demonstrated her artistic range but also her willingness to stay
true to her roots while continuing to innovate and inspire.
