Truls Heggero is nothing short of a legend when you look back at his contribution to Norwegian music throughout the 2000s and 2010s. He founded the band Lukestar with childhood friends from Kjelsås, paving the way for melodic indie rock in Norway. Lukestar is undoubtedly a band that has meant more to people than one might perhaps appreciate today. He then went on to form Truls and the Trees — an indie pop collective brimming with joy and anthemic choruses that still brings a smile to your face at the mere thought of them, and who at their peak could count up to 30 members on stage.

Yet it is perhaps as a solo artist that Truls became most widely known to Norwegian audiences. He broke through with the massive hit "Out of Yourself" in 2013 and the subsequent album TRVLS, going on to dominate charts, playlists, radio stations, and concert stages in the years that followed.

«Walkover» is the first single from Truls' new project, slated for release on Friday May 22nd, leading up to a brand new album in the fall of 2026. This single is a mix of all his musical projects, mixing indie guitar, with the catchy-ness from his solo album TRVLS. This summer is all festivals, music, videos, and more singles will be announced soon!
