Maria Coma is a singer, composer, pianist and performance artist based in Berlin, with their roots between Catalonia and Mallorca.
Their work meets at the intersection of music, sound art, performance and embodiment. Their artistic practice is driven by self-research exploring from a physical and personal experience. With an interest into the interweaving between voice and body, flesh and divinity and human nature. They create and stimulate voice and embodiment practices to develop a decolonized, physical and polyvalent language of vibration.
As a solo musician and composer they hold five published solo albums, more than 400 performances around Spain, Germany and South America and other collaborations with a broad type of artists and musicians. They also collaborate with other performers, musicians, dancers and artists.
