Maria Deirisarri is an American-born and Colombian-descended independent artist. Her entrance into the music industry in 2020 began with her single “Blindfolded” at the age of 13, with which she later cultivated the release of her debut album, In The Beginning, in 2023. Collaborating with artist and producer Patrick Taylor, she navigated her teenage years while creating an eclectic pop portfolio of songs. She experiments with a multitude of languages and thematic elements, and ranges from alternative, to folk, to bossa nova. Her specialization in songwriting and storytelling brings a realness and fresh narrative to her music, and has already garnered attention from publications such as EARMILK and Conversations About Her. In 2024, she recorded her unreleased EP, Si Vis Pacem, with Corey Kilgannon, launching a new era and exploration into her artistry and cinematic writing.
