Marie-Clo

A true creative chameleon & nomad, Marie-Clo is a born performer who ropes her audiences into a feverish pitch in both official languages; thanks to "hooked on phonics".
Singer-songwriter, dancer/actor, her eclectic indie pop tackles current themes, conscious lyrics & conjures a colourful world.


Her critically acclaimed full length english album Shell(e), a conceptual feminist narrative released in 2021, was produced by Polaris shortlisted drummer/producer Olivier Fairfield (Fet Nat, Timber Timbre, Leif Vollebek), with the support of the Ontario Arts Council (OAC), Canada Council for the Arts and FACTOR.


Topping charts nationally & winning best album of the year with the capital music awards & a Trille Or for best single (Red Flag), Marie-Clo joined numerous editorial playlists on Spotify/Apple/Amazon & graced the cover of Montreal Chill’s playlist. Aero chocolates featured her song Sablier in a 52 week long National commercial in which she starred. Her single Lève tes voiles reached #2 on Sirius XM charts, Red Flag topped CBC charts (#2) & Sirius XM’ (#4) & was featured as a Sirius XM exclusive single. She recently had the pleasure of playing Ottawa’s Bluesfest, the National Arts Center, Place des arts in Montréal, opening for Ariane Moffatt & singing alongside Martha Wainwright.


Marie-Clo is currently working on her new album collab Two Lips with Saskatchewan artist éemi; electronic pop with eco-feminist lyrics that spark their fans' empathy towards nature.
