Marija Clara is a Catholic singer-songwriter known for her soulful, velvety vocals and faith-driven compositions layered with rich harmonies. With roots spanning several countries, she calls music her true home. Born into a Lithuanian family of celebrated musicians, she began composing at 11 and was mentored by her father, acclaimed saxophonist Petras Vyšniauskas.
Her eclectic sound reflects a life shaped by both heritage and travel. After studying English Literature at the University of St Andrews, she pursued Music Production & Composition at Leeds Conservatoire under the guidance of the Grammy-winning producer Dom Morley (Amy Winehouse, Adele, Sting, The Staves).
Her EP Nothing I Shall Want earned critical acclaim, marking her as part of a new generation of Christian Soul and Indie R&B artists. With a debut album in the works with Latin Grammy–nominated producer Mateo Rodo (María Becerra, Abel Pintos, Silvestre y La Naranja), Marija Clara is quickly emerging as one of the genre’s most compelling new voices.
