Marija (aka Marija Žeželj) is a Serbian singer, born on November 20th, 1999, in Novi Sad. Before she recorded her debut single at the age of 17, she already had a career as an author, vlogger, and model. Marija started her versatile career as a model in 2015 and has gradually become Serbia’s most influential teenager. At the age of 16 she had already written a bestselling book.
Marija has signed a deal with Universal Music in 2017 and launched her debut single ‘Dance Like Nobody’s Watching’ that same year, after she was discovered while supporting a friend as a featuring artist on an acoustic cover of Justin Bieber’s 'Love Yourself'. Her first single was the most successful debut of the year in Serbia and throughout the region, while trending across the globe.
Following the success of her debut single, Marija released her sophomore single “Louder Than A Drum”, an upbeat, dance pop song that takes us behind the scenes of her eventful life.
