Mark began composing the moment he sat down at his yellow acoustic piano at the age of 7. Mark calls his music "piano impressionism." His last cd Feeling Right At Home won the award for Best Original Solo Piano at the EPR music awards in Nashville in September. Mark just came back from Divinya, Sweden where he performed 3 solo piano concerts at the international yogamela festival..The title of this 20 piece recording and Mark's 17th album is called Walls I Left Behind which was released in early 2023. Another recording entitled The Light of the World, composed and arranged with Montreal recording artist Peter Mika was just released as well. Mark released his 19th solo piano album called Ice Water Steam which is playing on programs around the globe... And recently Mark became a certified qi gong teacher studying with qi gong Master Nick Loffree.. Now Mark is putting together all the material for his 20th album to be recorded later this year 2025.
