Mark Rib is a rapper and songwriter from Slovakia, carving out his place in the hip-hop scene with sharp lyricism and bold collaborations. Since starting his musical journey in 2020, he’s worked with artists who’ve landed in the Top 10 of the Billboard charts and earned Grammy nominations.
Influenced by Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Eminem, Lil Wayne, and MGK, Mark Rib brings a raw, introspective style that first started taking shape in his debut album 2021: The Collection. The lead single “Breathing,” featuring KXNG Crooked and Constantine, introduced him to a wider audience and in 2022, the track “Chasin” with Krizz Kaliko too advantage and surpassed 10,000 streams for the first time in Rib's career.
That same year, he performed alongside MGK during the Mainstream Sellout Tour in Prague. Their live duet of “Roll The Windows Up” gave him his first semi-viral moment.
In 2024, Rib’s evolution continued by releasing Life Selector (A Game of Life), with lead singles “Levels” and “Show What,” featuring Rick Ross and Sean Kingston. The album surpassed 100,000 streams, making it his most successful release to date.
Experimenting with Slovak lyrics that year, Rib appeared on “Viem aké to je” by Ad.03.00.am and released “Rollin’ Wit a G” featuring Obie Trice.
This bilingual approach continued into 2025 with “Formula,” “Šok,” and “Hol’ Up.” while returning to English releases with “So Much” featuring Gucci Mane and “No Tellin” with Westside Boogie, making it his strongest year yet.
