Marly Reds

Marly Reds is a four piece band formed in 2017. The lineup consisted of vocalist/guitarist Ihza Bayu, guitarist Yoga Ardhana, bassist Danukerta and drummer Hadi Cahyono. They were heavily influenced by <a href="spotify:artist:60mqEPQp1eNjuwt1Z4yL4J" data-name="Nothing">Nothing</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3sWLSYm3MFYosc4AZhwajg" data-name="Ringo Deathstarr">Ringo Deathstarr</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1tnjjbgszXYa8BbyTzwM0w" data-name="Whirr">Whirr</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6l3BRLCpzfC8yxqf9thWAg" data-name="Yuck">Yuck</a> during the process of making their debut selftitled EP <a href="spotify:album:5ShCenzIKFaudVOIIsTqc8" data-name="Marly Reds">Marly Reds</a>.

Although they are heavily influenced by an already beknown shoegaze bands, it doesn’t stop them from exploring and experimenting sounds. They believe that music barely has no limits, and for them, their instrument is like a vehicle that can take them into a spiritual journey rather than just being a tool to create their music. Their singable songs, fast-paced constant drumming, and mind-shifting combination of fuzz and reverb created a whole new sound and energy for those who listens to their songs.
