Sweetsoak

Seattle's Sweetsoak is the brainchild of guitarist/vocalist Omar Lizarraga, rounded out by Chandler Jackson, Brittany Garcia, Kyle Garcia and Amr Jan. Taking elements from emo, indie, shoegaze and noise pop, their music is a unique blend of saccharine, emotional lyricism with catchy often dreamy instrumentation. Born out of the breakup of two local groups, the band began playing house shows in the DIY scene together and eventually began recording and self releasing singles and tapes. Eventually, the group embarked on their first full US tour in the fall of 2018 after the release of "Tour Tape 2018" which recieved praise and positive reviews from critics.
