Mars Baby is a singer-songwriter & producer from Cape Town, South Africa.
Mars relocated to the USA with his family at a young age, where he was exposed to many of his musical influences, including blues, punk & choral music.
He also developed a love for hip-hop which would later influence his work as a producer.
At age 16, Mars moved back to Cape Town, where he continued his musical education, transitioning to jazz guitar & vocals. He played in a number of jazz & fusion bands, honing his own unique style along the way.
Mars moved to Johannesburg in 2020 where he signed to Stay Low.
