Halo Yagami, a 28 year old singer and producer, whose real name is Monde Ngcobo, Born in
Durban KwaMashu currently based in Johannesburg.
"Joburg has been rough and good at the same time. I've met amazing people and have also
felt the struggle of being an independent artist, especially being so far away from home and
no family around" Halo said.
So far Halo Yagami has collaborated with well-known artists such as Shekhinah, Mawhoo, Maglera Doe Boy, Priddy Ugly, Usimamane , Lia Butler and Thando Zide just to name a few.
Inspired by his environment, halo folds maskandi, afro-pop and electro soul into experimental R&B.
This fusion of genres and styles comes inspired by the eras and moods from Jabu Khanyile , Jhené Aiko,
Sir, Erykah badu and many more.
