Marseille are a young five-piece indie rock band from Derbyshire. The line
up is Will Brown (vocals), Joe Labram (lead guitar), Lennon Hall (rhythm guitar), Will
Sabey (bass) and Tom Spray (drums). At an average age of around 20, they have
already built notable momentum in the UK and abroad.
Formed in 2021, Marseille draw on influences ranging from the Madchester and
Britpop eras through shoegaze, psychedelic textures and classic guitar-driven
indie. Their earlier work, including singles and EPs such as Forget It All, Monkey in
the Middle, She Can Fly and History, has earned praise from tastemakers including
BBC 6 Music (Steve Lamacq), Radio X, and US stations like KEXP and Sirius XM.
Their live credentials are strong. They have sold out venues in the 150 to 250
capacity range, featured at festivals including Y Not and the Isle of Wight, and are
now preparing for their biggest UK headline tour to date, playing nine cities in
November in 300 capacity venues. Fever arrives at a moment when Marseille’s
blend of youthful energy, evocative songwriting and fiercely committed
performance is converging, positioning 2025 as potentially their breakthrough year.
