A rather international upbringing (born in Europe, raised in Alaska) helped shape the musical path of R&B vocalist Maryline Blackburn. She released two albums in her career, the self-titled Maryline and the follow-up Russian Rhapsody, the latter of which was recorded and performed in Moscow. In addition to recording in different parts of the world, Maryline could also be found sharing stages with some of the planet's best-known performers, such as Bob Hope, Cab Calloway, and the Platters. In addition to her vast vocal and stage skills, Maryline was also an accomplished actress, appearing in the films Made in Heaven and School Daze. ~ Chris True, Rovi
