Hailing from Margate, UK, mas is the sonic child of wife and husband duo, Steph and Michael Dickinson.
After a lifetime of making and enjoying music, 2019 saw the culmination of much creative work as they released their debut single ‘Take me Back (Songs of the Silent Years)’ in June 2019. Their debut EP, ‘Songs of the Silent Years’ , crowdfunded by incredible fans, followed soon after and was produced by the mighty Jonny Bird. The debut EP gained a lot of traction and landed multiple placements on Spotify’s editorial playlists, as well as international radio play.
2022 is set to be another big year for mas, with new singles on the horizon in advance of the duos new EP, ‘limbo’, - a deeper body of work exploring the light and shade of life, power, hope and spirituality.
Somewhere between alt-pop and indie-rock, mas find their groove as they explore infectious melodies, gritty production, and lyrics that cut to the heart.
