Mashudu

Mashudu Mosoeu commonly known as Mashudu born in
Soweto, Gauteng ( Diepkloof), is a South African musician and
song writer who is passionate about expressing herself through
music and performance. From an early age she developed her
love for music from a school choir then ventured into opera
music to perfect her craft. She has travelled to the United States
of America and Scotland to be a soloist in theatre.
Her venture took a sharp turn in her second year at the
University of Witwatersrand when she then ventured to a
different world of music in amapiano which she then made
waves with hits namely Mina Nawe, Qhude, Kuvaliwe and
Umoya most notably and collaborated with artists such as Soa
Mattrix, Dj Maphorisa, Musa Keys, Kelvin Momo, Master KG,
Heavy K , Mdu aka TRP, Murumba Pitch and many more.

Coming from a household that believed strongly in school she indulged in her love through music by singing in church and school choir. She spent time perfecting her musical understanding and got scouted by Soa Mattrix who assisted her in expanding in the amapiano genre she later then met Amu classic & Kappie and Mdu aka TRP before deciding to strive for independence. Mashudu has grown to become one of the most talented vocalist and songwriter having worked with great producers like Heavy K , Master KG, Musa Keys, Dj Maphorisa and Kelvin Momo.
