Matlockes

The Matlockes are five young musicians from small-town southern Ontario, Canada bringing new life to the rock scene with their unique sound, contagious energy, and inspiring passion. The band was formed in April 2022, just two weeks before their debut performance at their high school, Shelburne's Centre Dufferin District High School.

The band consists of Steven Thompson (Lead Vocals), Evan Harley (Guitar), Colt Fawcett (Guitar), Cole Barber (Bass), and Dylan Lillie (Drums, Backup Vocals), and together they create a musical force to be reckoned with. Drawing inspiration from popular rock and metal bands such as Metallica, Black Sabbath, Foo Fighters, and Greta Van Fleet, the Matlockes have a very diverse sound, with elements of rock, metal, punk, and alternative genres in their songs.

The Matlockes have performed at local events and fundraisers, as well as in numerous venues in various cities across southern Ontario. The band has had many amazing opportunities to connect with other independent artists within their community, which is something they feel very passionate about.

The release of their debut single LOST was a huge milestone for the band, marking the beginning of their journey to releasing all of their songs, beloved by hundreds of fans across Ontario.
