MATONDO

MATONDO is a vocalist, producer and songwriter from Zurich. She has already walked on different paths in life, constantly searching, learning and growing, which ultimately shapes her music. The genrebending musician decided for herself, that there is no need of limitation, neither in life nor in music. Therefore she shows all of her colours.
The love for touching harmonies, bouncy basses, the mix of electronic as well as acoustic sounds, paired with her unique voice, result in her musical universe.
In her very own way she will lead the audience through her stories, thoughts and worlds.

The newest production named “Coco Butter Skin“ is an ode to the black woman. When MATONDO proudly sings about the shapes, colours and characteristics of her being, it is a testament to the self-acceptance she has gained as well as to the knowledge of the origin of these characteristics.
